I have moved all design brainstorm ideas to this post.

Coolness. I was wondering if it is possible for us to get some piqué shirts? I thought it'd be cool if we had the upper-left breast where the designer label usually goes be "Tre kronor" in a goldish or yellow thread. That's all the shirt would be available in all colours, more specifically blue haha. This way it works well for the dept and for club members, because it very Swedish but enough to look decent everyday and not some cheesy club shirt. Not that this design is cheesy, it's very cool

I will have to talk with my t-shirt producer connection about the piqué shirts and the embroidery, but I do think we would be able to do that. I'll look into it.

I have another idea for a shirt that I got after our meeting. It would say, "Vill du fika?" on the front and maybe "Så klart" on the back.

Oh and I know Eric. He was in my Swedish class freshman year. I actually knew he was a t-shirt designer too! Funny.

Also, I know we want to have this shirt be accessible to people more than just Swedish Club members (whoever that actually is) but I think we should put Swedish Club at the University of Washington somewhere on it. It could be small. Especially if the Swedish Club is putting up money for it, we should think about this.

Karli, the accessibility shouldn't be a problem because Eric's website is pretty great and i think the design would be available for ordering online too! As for the labeling of Swedish Club on our clothing, I've already got someone working on a design. I think you're really gonna like it.

When I said accessible, I meant people that don't consider themselves members might feel uncomfortable buying something that says swedish club. But as previously said, I don't think that is a problem.

Ok, so I hope you, Yeon-Hee, can get the other two designs you and I were discussing at lunch, up, cause I really liked em, especially the whole club, university thing.
Commenting on Karli...its a sweatshirt to represent the Swedish Club at UW isn't it??? So why wouldnt we want to show that by putting it on the sweatshirt. Plus then, it would look super cool, and people that weren't members would be like wow, cool sweatshirt, I wanna become a member :-)
...or something like that.

Naomi, I think Karli's point was that we SHOULD put "Swedish Club" on the t-shirt/sweatshirt... whatever. I will post a clarification soon about the designs. In the mean time, thank you everyone for your input!
